The Native Rose Hotel is a dog-friendly pub in Rozelle.
Thoroughly impressed by the quality of the food at the Native Rose. We went for dinner with friends and their kids on a Saturday night, and everything was spot on. The pan-seared salmon special with fregula salad was outstanding, and the favourites—chicken schnitzel, tacos, and burgers—didn’t disappoint. The food came out quickly, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Loved that it’s dog-friendly and right next to a park, so the kids could play while the adults enjoyed a drink. Would eat here again in a heartbeat!
Discovered this gem of a pub when listening to live music on. Friday afternoon. Dog friendly, good mix of clientele, efficient friendly service and a great place to have a few beers and wind down in a Friday afternoon.
We went to the native rose to watch the comedy show and some dinner. The food we had burgers and the were really good . The show was excellent very funny . The last act Luke Heggie was sensational one of the best I have seen . If your in Sydney or here for a holiday , take a ride to Rozelle to The Native Rose hotel , its well worth the visit
Look. I thought I would give this pub a go after playing a gig there one evening recently. So a mate of mine and I decided to we would head there, watch some NRL on a Sunday, as they have a big screen out the back of the Pub. (well they did the Friday night I played with my band there) They have some decent beer on tap too. We were planning on eating as well. Arrived around 3pm. No big screen on out the back, awful music in the front bar playing to an empty room, and the televisions that were showing the footy, were blinking and not in good working order (or the reception was bad...) Add to that $15.20 for a schooner of beer because of the Sunday surcharge and we were out of there after one beer. I don't enjoy writing the review, but they have to do a bit better than that.
Good staff serving. Beer was cold however a bit on the expensive side. Got steak frites I thought very reasonable $28, it had a fair bit of gristle in it and was quite tough which was unfortunate so I wouldn't order again. Paired it with some mushroom sauce and a pint of 1664 and it was $51.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
