The Hub House Diner is a cafe in Dulwich Hill where dog access has not yet been confirmed — it's worth checking before you visit.
I ordered a coffee in a takeaway cup and asked if I could sit down for a moment. I was told I had to pay extra just because I wanted to sit, even though I wasn’t using plates or table service. I politely questioned it, and the attitude I received was rude and dismissive. Because of that, I immediately asked to cancel the order. The coffee had NOT even been prepared yet, but they still refused to refund me. At this point, don’t forget to ask if customers also have to pay extra to breathe after entering the venue. Terrible customer service, uncomfortable atmosphere, and absolutely not a place I will ever return to. I don’t mind paying extra if the lady at the front desk could at least smile and explain things respectfully. Please train your staff to provide better customer service.
I was not sure about the Miss Fritz because I could not find any pictures on google map but it’s actually amazing. The fritters were freshly fried very crispy and yum. I find the coffee is a bit over priced, iced latte is 9 dollars.
The best coffee for my morning errands. I’ve been living in Dulwich hill for over 10 years and the community definitely raves on about this gem. It never fails to amaze me, especially the bacon and egg roll. Looking at the reviews below seem pretty fake to me as I’ve been coming here for years and this place is always busy and full of great energy! People just seem to be super entitled these days to leave reviews on businesses they don’t give a chance too. I love this place and the girls running it are truly super welcoming too. Thanks guys :)
Lovely staff (very attentive), food is subpar, I got the hub raisin canes dupe plate. The toast was overdone and extremely dry. Chips were good, well seasoned. The chicken wings were $18, came with one watered down sauce, which wasn’t touched beyond tasting. Only came with wings (no chips, celery). Wings were unseasoned and no sauce on them (just the one on the side). Wouldn’t come again, nice atmosphere.
HUUUUUUGE! The fried chicken breast was huge but the bun was up to the challenge. Delightfully fried and so juicy. The sauce works. Really good value. Great service.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
