Leura Oval has a fenced off-leash dog area in the Blue Mountains, well suited to a secure run. Off-leash access is timed: every day from sunrise to 10am and again after 4pm, with dogs on-leash outside those hours. It draws a lively local crowd in the early mornings and late afternoons, and there are bag stations and toilets on hand. A practical, enclosed spot for off-leash exercise around the timed hours.
Leura Oval has a designated off-leash area. Dogs may be off leash from sunrise to 10am and from 3pm to sunset; outside those hours they must be on leash. The oval is shared with organised sport, so give way to bookings and training.
Nice quiet offleash park, fully fenced with parking and toilets. Highly recommend for a good runaround in a large open space. Shade available to.
Today my dog was attacked at the entrance gate. I have no idea why this happened we have met that dog many times. The most disappointing thing was the owner of the dog didn’t bother to check how my dog was after being attacked. I’m so upset as this was my dogs happy place and my happy place. Just wish owners would take some responsibility for their dog. My dog is so friendly and just wants to say hello to everyone. If my dog had attacked another dog in the park I would have been concerned and checked that the other dog was okay. Apparently this is the second incident of this dog attacking dogs at the entrance
Good dog Park well fenced for off lead exercise
Comfortable and well dressed place for dogs unleashed. Before 8:30am none is there, after, it’s a dogs party with ~20 at least on the ground. There’s some funny restriction though which I couldn’t comprehend.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
