Bakehouse on Wentworth

It locate bit away from the Main Street and plenty street parking on the street. You can take out and eat / picnic at the little park cross the street or dine in. Plenty tomato sauce for customers to each. Paper cup for people who shares drinks there too! Thoughtful My go to is Guinness pie or Steak pie. Sausage pie is big but personally mediocre I think. Love their flaky pies tho!!

The pies are totally awesome. Excellent mix of meat chunks and gravy. These are definitely worth going in for. But give the coffees a miss. They need to learn how to froth the milk better. The 4 coffees that we bought were all quite disappointing.

The pie was good, crusty pastry and delicious potatoe on top (I had the Sheppard's pie). I came in on a Sunday afternoon and found the two young girls working to be quite unfriendly. There was free ketchup near the drink fridge, but they charged me 80c each for two take away ketchup containers without asking if I was eating in. Not many seating options inside, but good for take away.

Clean and crisp looking display windows- items presented well, artisan style. Lamb Curry Pie didn't quite taste like curry, more a tomato based stew, but still tasty and good quality. There may have been a mix up? Croissants are traditional French style croissants and tasty. Seating not overly crowded and we enjoyed the space for our young kids to move. Would definitely return on another day trip but higher price point than most bakeries. Quality is good though.

These are some incredible pies. Amazing coffee too. The size of these pies is what makes them better than average. Super friendly staff, loved the music playing here too (souls of mischief) what a vibe. Will definitely come back next time I am in the area.
