We had spent Christmas Lunch at Spikes Bistro, while travelling through the Blue Mountains. The team at Spikes were so lovely, very accommodating, service top knotch and we were allowed to bring our dog on the verandah overlooking the golf course while having our lunch. The food was an excellent buffet, vibes were laid back and felt reminiscent of spending an afternoon with family in the backyard. I would definitely come back again. Pet friendly spot! Thank you so much for making our Christmas so wonderful, we've left with our tummy's filled and ready for a nap!

Beautiful spot for early spring/summer dinner, as you have views over the golf course. Thai beef salad was excellent. Another good addition to Blackheath dining. Casual and relaxing.

I ordered a vegetarian lasagna which although extremely tasty had no vegetables in it so I was disappointed. However in saying that the dish tasted lovely, lots of tomato and creamy bechamel Sauce. Just no vegetables

Came here for a nice Saturday dinner. Not busy, a very nice view but dinner was disappointing. I paid $40 for a steak ordered medium rare, and it came out well done. To their credit, when brought back they were okay with redoing the order. Within 5 minutes, a new steak was provided, this one was closer to medium rare yet still was rare on the inside and the outside was over cooked. Clearly they do not know how to cook a steak, the grill was set too high. The sides provided were also tiny, a small saucer of maybe 9 slices of vegetables and less than a handful of chips. Does not warrant a $40 price tag. Oh yeah, also the mushroom sauce was a saucer slightly larger than a standard shot glass of literally 4 mushrooms pieces and a watery gravy with a hint of flavor. I was trying to be blunt and not harsh with this review, but this is honestly exactly what happened. Will not be coming back. The lamb burger my friend had was reportedly alright though.

We ate twice at this place while we were in blackheath. The first experience in morning was awesome where the girl (forgot to ask her name) was warm and friendly and the food was custom made and yummy. Second time the staff serving wasn’t very friendly but the chef was super friendly and helped us with making custom vegetarian options. Enjoyed the place and would recommend for a quiet simple and happy meal
