Sutton Park is a well-regarded dog-friendly park in Blackheath where dogs are welcome on lead. You'll find shade, BBQs, parking, and toilets nearby, and dog waste bags are usually available.
Dogs are welcome on leash. This venue is not listed as an off-leash area, so keep your dog on lead and follow signs on site. (Source: Blue Mountains.)
This is one of the nicer rest areas I've seen, with toilets, tables / benches for a picnic, nice grassy area and plenty of shade.
A great place for a toilet or lunch break when crossing over the mountains. Plenty of parking, grassy areas, shade and quiet. Easy access to and from the highway.
👎👎👎👎👎 awful Small nothing for kids to play there it's out dated & needs to be rebuilt.
Sutton park is a gem hidden in a menagerie of mystery. We discovered this park after a gruelling trek across the (allegedly) blue mountains. When we stumbled upon Sutton park, our eyes lit up with a childlike wonder as to the possibilities. It has a slide, swings, and even a bubbler. We will be back.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
