We had such a lovely night here. Everything from the wine to the food to the atmosphere made it a place we’ll definitely return to. The wine list is genuinely beautiful, with such an interesting and diverse range by the glass. We sampled our way through most of it during the evening as each selection was so interessting, which was such a treat. The food was equally impressive. We ordered a spread of starters, even the simplest dishes, like sardines with crackers, were full of flavour and very satisfying. The pasta special (rigatoni with a rich, perfectly balanced sauce) was the highlight for me, but the meatball salad and smaller plates were just as carefully put together. The menu feels well thought out, and the fact that they do rotating specials means you’ll always find something new to try on a return visit. The space itself is cosy yet comfortable, with a relaxed buzz that made us stay far longer than we intended. We sat at the bar area, which gave us a great view of everything happening, but there’s also outdoor seating that looked just as inviting. The staff couldn’t have been friendlier, warm, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they’re serving. Between the exceptional wine list, the delicious food, and the welcoming atmosphere, this place is an absolute gem.
So happy that we found this cute cafe near Bondi Beach! The interior was beautiful but we didn’t manage to get photos 🥲 We did, however, get to sit outside and we’re blessed with great weather and many many adorable dog sightings 🤭 Food was great, standard cafe fare but the ingredients were really fresh, which were seasoned and prepared well. Romantic and culturally fun place. We loved the air, service and the whole space of this venue although the space was smaller than what I imagined for a wine bar. The chardonnay we were served was clean and aromatic. The cheese plate was a wonderful supplement and the staff were very friendly and lovely. The only part is their “chips” literally pocket chips like Smith chips or Thin chips? I expected hot chips lol.
Came for the $25 pasta night and was very happy with the meal! They had the cutest atmosphere, great focaccia and wine. Pasta was a bit oily but still thoroughly enjoyed. Def make a reservation in advance. Will be back!
In correcting the response below, the Photos and review are of food served to us today 16.1 26. Im not usually an ageist. It'd be hypocrisy, as my places thrived over decades. But this place needs to reinvent and grow. Yes it remains as popular as TayTay at a swifty party. The sandwich bread was cool in the 90s, and still works great if the crust has great chew. Here, the crust has all the character of the salad greens used. Frankly, if I hadn't chosen to add pickled cabbage, it would be hard to know what it was, through all the Mayo. The halved egg, stuffed in the centre "whole" is like a bar of music. No symphony. When the menu says eggs, you get more than one. And here the solo contender is the least quality example I've seen in Bondi...since...the 90s. The coffee was pretty good. The road is the road. Noisy. The place has had a face lift and is no longer Darlinghurst 1977. It looks good! The coffee is contemporary. Tuga pastries are contemporary. The menu is fine. They just need to bring the food to this decade.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
