A great venue for a quick lunch or a fun cocktail. I have eaten here often. It’s busy. Vibey and the food is decent. Service always nice and the venue is an ideal location. Love watching the dogs and kids in the grass.

Having been a semi-local for years I have often wanted to visit Blackwood, but never found the time to do this!! So at last came the opportunity on N Y eve morning after a swim at Bondi we ventured off to Blackwood for the ultimate brunch!! We waited 20 minutes which was fine and then were escorted to the table and studied the menu! Service is swift and moves quickly and once the food orders things moved efficiently and overall it was very tasty and served hot!! The menu works well and I now fully understand why this place is always pumping with joy!! The restaurant combines three elements that many restaurant operators could learn from you! Great atmosphere, tasty food and efficient service!! Congratulations to the team and management….this wins the BEST brunch place in Australia without any problems!! 🥂🍾🏆🏆🏆 I can’t wait to return. My wife is pregnant. So naturally, she orders two meals she wants and I get to eat what she doesn’t. Fortunately, there isn’t a single dud on the menu. EVERY meal is like being punched in the face by nutrients. Perfect for growing a baby.

a few blocks inland from the beach but worth the extra walk to eat at blackwood! the service is quick and friendly, and the food was outstanding. would recommend! there are also drink happy hours M-F 11-1. chilli scramble: must try! the creamy eggs topped with the peas spread with cream cheese and drizzled in chilli oil was the perfect combo banana bread: crispy, rich, and delicious. would recommend

Stylish and well-curated spot, but still have a relaxed, chill atmosphere. Perfect for a satisfying brunch both in flavour and portion size. Highly recommended
