We had an absolutely amazing experience eating here on Wednesday night. We were dining with two Coeliacs and the owner was amazingly accommodating and ensured that our entire table was served gluten free so that we could all enjoy. Even our non Coeliac friends were so impressed with the food and the gluten free Lebanese bread they make was honestly so amazing! The drinks were delicious and nothing was too much trouble for the owner to accommodate. We will 100% be back next time we are in Bondi.

The food here is packed with authentic Middle Eastern flavors and made with the freshest ingredients. From tender shawarma and juicy grilled kebabs to creamy hummus, freshly baked pita bread, and rich falafel, every dish delivers both taste and tradition. The mezze platters are a highlight, offering a variety of dips, salads, and appetizers that are perfect for sharing with friends and family. For dessert, the sweet baklava and rose-scented mouhalabieh are unforgettable. This Lebanese halal restaurant is more than just a meal—it’s an experience of culture and tradition. The first time I came to Byblos was a year ago and I had the worst experience, I was not served as a solo diner for 20 minutes so I left. There were only 2 tables outside and 4 tables inside yet they were serving the two tables outside next to me, but not me. But I tried this place again because my friend insisted. Second time was a week ago, there were two of us and decided to sit inside instead. I had very low expectations from my first experience. Customer service was attentive this time. Food was good, came out fast. Flavour and quality of produce was up to standard. Would recommend the trio of dips. Avoid the hot entree/appetiser platter unless you like deep fried dough and meat. Serving was quite generous for the lamb shawarma between two. Highly recommend the Lebanese house red. Improvement could be made on warm lighting than the current neon white against shiny interiors. But good to see customer service and staff spatial awareness have improved here.
