Bronte Park sits behind the beach with lawns, a cafe, a playground and BBQ facilities. Dogs are off-leash from 3pm to 10am daily in the designated Bronte Gully walking corridor only, kept off the beach, intertidal areas and ocean pools. The gully makes a green, sheltered spot for a timed walk. A relaxed coastal park for off-leash time in the corridor.
Timed off-leash: 3pm to 10am daily, in the Bronte Gully area. Dogs only allowed on designated footpaths in bushland areas of Bronte Gully. Prohibited: beach; intertidal areas; ocean pools; within 10 metres of playground/BBQ/kiosk; bushland (except designated paths). (Source: Waverley Council — waverley.nsw.gov.au)
Great location for celebrations! BBQ areas and tables are available, with the beach just there in front of you. However, it’s best to bring your own table and chairs, as during summer weekends the area gets busy early with birthday parties and gatherings. Nice little kiosk for coffee is very welcoming.
Absolutely loved this park barbecue area! Clean grills, plenty of seating, and a beautiful view of the ocean — perfect for a weekend hangout or family picnic. The sea breeze, shady trees, and easy access to the beach made it even better. Great place to relax, eat, and enjoy nature. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a chill outdoor BBQ spot near the water!
Top place for family fun! I came here many times with my family as a child! Family BBQ, s I still can remember the great times here. There is plenty of things to do here including a natural rock pool for the children 😀 and a beautiful swimming pool. Across the road is a number of good restaurants and cafes
