Sirius Cove is a calm harbour beach in Mosman with consistently gentle water and open views across Sydney Harbour. It's a smaller, more contained setting, which makes it feel relaxed and easy to manage with a dog.
The surrounding reserve provides grassed areas and shade nearby, so you can move between the beach and a more settled spot without leaving the area. It's a popular local spot and works well for slower visits rather than long walks.
Off-leash all day Monday to Friday. Off-leash before 9am and after 4pm on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays. Outside these times dogs must be on-leash. Effective control required at all times. Dogs must remain at least 10m from children’s playground equipment and tables.
Love the calm shallow waters, perfect place to take your dog for their first swim and build confidence. Very tranquil and scenic as well with best views in Sydney!
Sirius Cove Reserve is truly a hidden gem. It’s a small, peaceful spot that feels tucked away from the busy world, making it perfect for a relaxed day out with family. The views are beautiful and calming, especially on a clear day. The shallow beach is ideal for young children to safely splash around, and it’s also great for dogs to enjoy the water without strong waves. There’s plenty of space to sit, unwind, and just enjoy the natural surroundings. If you’re looking for a quiet, family-friendly place with lovely scenery where both kids and dogs can have a great time, it is definitely worth a visit.
Hidden gem!!! Loooove this place. So many dogs around - most off the leash. Water is super calm for a dip & it’s just super quiet (other than some barking ha) and peaceful! Some shade to sit under, there’s a bathroom here & pretty sure a BBQ too. Small parking lot but lots of street parking nearby.
Beautiful spot with quiet water, there are tables and chairs & shaded grass area. There are bbqs too. Be warned that there are lots of dogs and if you're not fond of dogs, I wouldn't recommend it. Parking is free but limited. There's a toilet block & drinking water
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
