This is a great place for a family outing. There is a playground for the kids and a basketball court. There are also public toilets and public electric barbecues, shaded and unshaded picnic areas, a netted swimming area, a jetty for fishing, a car park (you must pay for parking)and also a cafe. It is a very popular place and is generally busy most of the time.
It was a nice experience we had for the first time. My son enjoyed playing in the sand playground and we enjoyed having a nice day in the shade at the beach close to the playground. It’s highly recommended for the family. The parking was expensive though! $40 for a day which of course make it available for most of the day.
This is a great park, huge swimming area, half netted and half open, awesome jetty for jumping off or fishing. There is a basketball court, open grass areas for sports, BBQ's, amenities, Cafe and restaurant nearby. Good bush walking at either side of the park. Plenty of space to lounge around. Digs are allowed. Lots of parking 12hr bays.
