Ex Cafe Sydney team are pumping out an amazing brunch which you can’t find comparable quality in the eastern suburbs. We have also tried the wine bar in the evening for a chilled red and a great revolving menu
Very enjoyable, fresh brunch at Beach st general. The owner and staff were super nice, and we were treated to a slice of the best carrot cake I’ve ever had! Highly recommend.
I just visited Beach Street General in Coogee, and I’m still buzzing! I had their prawn toast with chili eggs, and I can say hands-down it was the best I’ve ever had. The flavors were spot-on, and the dish was just perfection. Even though I live quite far away, I’ll be making the trip back often because it’s that good. The service was amazing, the venue was super inviting, and the food? Just incredible. I honestly can’t speak highly enough of it. I’ll definitely be back—even if I have to travel miles!
Thrilled to have this charming family run venue in the neighbourhood. Perched midway up the hill, Beach Street General offers a tasteful and relaxed environment to enjoy some seriously good food and coffee. Chef-owner used to run Cafe Sydney and he’s bringing flavour and creativity to the local brunch spot. Big fans of the prawn toast and poke bowl. Service was super friendly. They’re operating as a wine bar on Friday and Saturday nights. Plus a cute bathroom! Come check it out!!
Very good coffee, extremely friendly barista. Highly recommended.
