Dog rules
Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times in this park. Off-leash exercise is only permitted in Randwick City Council's 17 designated leash-free areas — this is not one of them. Dogs are not permitted in playgrounds, sports courts, food preparation areas, schools, or wildlife protection areas. Please pick up after your dog — failure to do so attracts a $275 fine. Dunningham Reserve offers a peaceful coastal setting with lush lawns, shaded benches, and panoramic views of the Tasman Sea. It features the historic Giles Baths portico and the Dolphin Point memorial commemorating the 2002 Bali bombing victims. The park includes amenities like restrooms, drinking fountains, picnic areas, and is a popular spot for photography, walking, and outdoor ceremonies.
what a fascinating view is this place ! Peaceful view in Coogee, it all about mix of massive ocean and nature. Amazing for relaxing walking or swimming in the ocean, motivated place for exercises as well. I highly recommended it for anyone needs breathtaking and meditating spot. Easy accessible from central station with public Buses.
Nicely kept park with open space and sitting places at north end of Coogee beach. Lot of shade, usually a pleasant breeze to cool a hot day. Lovely to hear the sea at work, breaking away at the cliffs. Be careful near the cliff edge if you have toddlers with you.
Dunningham Reserve is a very popular spot for tourists and locals to sit and have a picnic, sunbath and relax the whole year round. There is easy access to the north side of Coogee Beach as well as Giles Baths. You can find a shower at one of the stairways from the beach as well as public toilets. These, however are portable toilets. It would be nice to have a more permanent toilet block in this area. You will find the Bali Memorial at the top of the hill which is also along the path of the popular Eastern Suburbs Coastal Walk.
Nice views of coogee, bubbler, dog water, bathrooms and picnic tables available. A few trees, grass and sandstone rocks and a few statues in the park. No play structures.
