This Coogee off-leash area is an unfenced space near a playground, giving dogs room to run but requiring reliable recall. Toilets are nearby. A couple of locals note fast-moving cyclists through the area, so keep an eye out during busier times. It's a basic space that works for dogs that are comfortable off-leash in open areas.

Lovely place to walk and plenty of dog friendly areas too! Just need to watch out for maniac cyclists.

Great place for dogs. However I went there this morning with my 3 month old puppy and let him off the leash. There was a guy there training so obviously the pup went up to say hello and the guy and his personal trainer got angry “shouting control your dog I’m training” I then reminded them they were on a off leash dog park and to go else where if they didn’t like dogs. How dumb can you get 🤣 Looking forward to the next trip there the local dogs and owners are all great 😊

Nice park for dogs off leash. My only complaint is there isn't an off leash park for small dogs only. Sometimes the dog parks can seem a bit overwhelming when they're full of big dogs that can seem quite aggressive to the smaller ones.
