Victoria Wharf Reserve is a small grassed reserve at Watsons Bay with a quiet harbourside setting near Camp Cove. Dogs are welcome on-leash, kept clear of playgrounds and food areas, with parking on hand for an easy visit. It is a simple green space rather than a large park, close to the wharf and beach. A low-key on-leash reserve by the harbour.
Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times when in public unless in a sign-posted off-leash area. Dogs are prohibited within 10 metres of children's play areas, within 10 metres of food preparation/consumption areas (except outdoor dining), from school grounds and childcare centres. Dog owners must clean up after their dogs. Source: Woollahra Municipal Council – Walking Your Dog (woollahra.nsw.gov.au/Services/Animals-and-Pets/Walking-Your-Dog)
Victoria Wharf is located on Sydney Harbour, in the eastern suburb of Watsons Bay. It sits at the end of Victoria Wharf Reserve which can be accessed from Pacific Street and provides some spectacular views of the harbour and the city skyline.
Was going through the Watson’s Bay walking trail and stumbled across this. Nice little pit stop before you make your way towards South Head & Hornby lighthouse. There’s not much here to see or do, there’s a bench looking out to the bay and that’s it. But it’s a quiet little spot to relax before continuing on your journey.
Good view of city but since the renovation next door...it needs some new grass put down.
The lilest parkie i’ve been to. It looks like the map of tassie ;-). One bench ideal for oldies remembering the hey-days; if itMs occupied, you can sit yourass in the grass lol. Can spot airplanes ✈️ flying over off the rear butt of the city. Noice.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
