Rockdale Park is a pleasant local spot, ideal for families and outdoor enthusiasts. It offers a mix of walking trails, playgrounds, and picnic areas, making it suitable for a variety of activities. The park's open green spaces and shaded areas create a relaxing environment, perfect for casual outings. While it may not have large attractions, its simplicity and well-maintained facilities provide a peaceful escape for those looking to enjoy nature close to home. Some visitors might find parking or amenities limited during busy times, but overall, it's a solid choice for a local getaway 😊😊

A large park that's good for picnics and BBQs and taking the kids. There's lots of grass areas to sit with trees for shaded areas, a pergola (with no seats), BBQs, a water feature (with wildlife), a small children's playground and bathroom facilities. However, it could do with a few more tables and seats in the shaded areas.

They’ve done a great job with the new park. The playground is great, suitable for little ones and their older counterparts. It’s a pity they made the water feature so lovely and accessible but it’s apparently not for paddling or playing in. That was very hard to explain to my 20 month old. Lots of lovely new paths around the whole park that are wheelchair, pram, bike and scooter friendly. BBQ and accessible toilet facilities are also available. Loads of big old trees for lazing under on warm summer days. Lovely, lovely, lovely.

Rockdale park has undergone an extensive refurbishment that has taken 12 months. The result is a stunning public reserve that is functional and beautiful. The centre piece is a tranquil water feature that replaces the tired Japanese themed pond. The trees are breathtaking. The playground has been relocated and updated. There is the inclusion of a new environmentally sound toilet block. There are picnic tables making it a perfect family destination or a tranquil place for tai Che. A great community asset.
