C A Redmond Field is a designated off-leash park in Rockdale, a valued local spot for a run. Dogs can exercise off-leash here, while the general rule across Bayside is on-leash within 20 metres of playgrounds, BBQs and sports fields. It is one of the few dedicated off-leash areas in the area, making it a popular community gathering point. A handy, well-used spot for off-leash exercise.

Our neighborhood is lucky to have this one and only dog park. It's the only spot around where you can truly enjoy time with your puppy. But what if we lose it? What if they start policing it with rangers handing out tickets to dog owners? The thought of losing this park is scares me. I really hope it never comes to that.

Best to enter via 101 bruce st. Maps directions will lead you astray of coming for Rugby.
