Fatima Island is a popular dog-friendly park in Tempe where dogs are welcome on lead. Around 550 metres away, Tempe Hotel - Pub, Restaurant & Accommodation is a great spot for a post-walk drink.
Dogs are permitted on-leash under the NSW Companion Animals Act. Dogs must be under effective control at all times. This venue is not listed on the Bayside Council off-leash dog areas page; off-leash use is not authorised here.
It was the most romantic experience of my life, we sat on that gorgeous island, with the water lapping at our feet as we sipped wine and he proposed. The ibis in the tree above us, , the shopping trolley lodged in the mud nearby… the rats scurrying by on the other side of the river…. And the sound of traffic and car horns omg😍Truly amazing. Fatima island is highly recommended definitely will be back

Lots to do on this island, but my favourite activity was the snorkelling! Only downside is that my doctor told me I now have 6 months to live
