Unnecessarily rude kid behind the bar refuses to turn up TV volume for the NBA finals in the SPORTS BAR citing “other patrons” — it was 10am on a Monday morning with not a single other soul. Two other blokes walked in and also were refused. Who wants to listen to red foo at pub in the morning you weirdo. Off to the oaks!!!

Came to the crowy last Sunday, first but not the last time! Was a pleasant experience and very welcoming for my family from overseas. The staff were so friendly towards us and looked after us with anything we needed, they made coming to the crowy a fun, happy time being super playful and kind to my baby boy. Amazing food from the chefs! amazing service from everyone involved at the crowy. Legends

I booked a table for lunch on 16 January, to celebrate our 42nd Wedding Anniversary, for my wife and I. Despite living in the area for a long time, we had never been inside the pub. We found ourselves located in a seating area on the front corner of the pub near Falcon street and my name was on a plaque on the table. I thought that was a nice touch. We had viewed the menu for most of the previous week, so I went to the bar and ordered. My wife chose the grilled Snapper, served with salad and chips. I ordered the half roast chicken with corn, green beans and rocket and four slices of Pita bread. We also had sides of a good bowl of broccolini and good size bowl of Lemon chat potatoes and grilled onion. My wife drank a bottle of sparkling mineral water and I had a tasty 180ml glass of Pepperjack Barossa Shiraz, to wash our meals down. We really enjoyed the meals, the food tasted great, were a decent size, and we ate everything on the plates. We didn't eat anything else that day. Staff were warm, friendly and helpful and exhibited best practice customer service. I joined Pub+ and added the app to my phone, so I could get a discount on the food and drinks. I highly recommend eating lunch at this hotel, on any weekday.

Staff were awesome, food was not very good. We ordered the wings, lamb and hummus and chicken skewers. Chicken skewers were ok and the best of the 3. The “crispy wings with hot honey and something else were… dry, unseasoned and wasn’t sure what I was eating at times. The lamb and hummus what a let down. Barely cooked lamb mince… that’s right, lamb mince served on a giant pile of hummus. Shocker. Come one guys even if you have to use mince get some colour and nice charred bits on that mince. It’s not rocket science. Still have heartburn from one of the dishes. Stoned Crow just down the road and miles ahead in food.

An absolutely fantastic pub! Gets really lively on the weekends and has a great atmosphere. They allways choose great bands and dj's, the service is fast and the food is pretty good too. It was the first time I had been here in a while and I was happy to see that they're still doing great! Will be back here soon!
