La Baguette is a cafe in Crows Nest. We don't yet have enough signals to confirm whether dogs are allowed. It's best to check with the venue before visiting with your dog. Just 150m away, Ernest Place is a great nearby park for a walk with your dog.

Great pastries but cappuccino poor. Cappuccino needs to have the milk well frothed so that the coffee is well aerated all the way to the bottom of the cup.otherwise it is just milk coffee. To see how to make the best cappuccino in Crows Nest look no further than Xenos.

Bought a baguette and tart this morning. Baguette was good but the tarte had soft - almost soggy - pastry. Not at all the standard I would expect from a proper French patisserie. Couldn’t eat the rest. Staff are pretty rude. There is no kindness, no eye contact, no smiles. The lady who made my baguette looked so miserable! Train your staff better. Seriously letting you down.

Good staff and food. The bread isn't the authentic French bread but it's still pretty good

Edit: adding a star because they are now on Too Good To Go, which is a way to pay for their bread the price it's actually worth. Been there a few times but have nothing really positive to say about this place. Service is consistently bad, they're just giving me a bad vibe. I'm surprised to see positive reviews about the baguette given how industrial it looks and tastes. They're obviously just delivered frozen and warmed up in the oven, and really nothing special. Their coffee and chai latte are bland. Pastries are good sometimes, but nothing to write home about, and their loaves are full of air. A real bakery in the neighbourhood would be welcome, we wouldn't have to deal with the abusive personnel owning this one. Also saw their bin full of bread after they closed one day, surely they could give them away instead?

Recently refurbished, this is a great bakery/cafe offering delicious pastries and bread. They also make baguettes with various fillings such as cheese and ham, salami etc which are really good and very reasonable.
