Metcalfe Park is a small green patch in Pyrmont, tucked between the surrounding buildings and close to the wharf. Dogs are allowed off-leash here at all times, as part of the City of Sydney off-leash program. It is a pleasant spot to pause in the middle of the day, with shade and a playground alongside. A handy inner-city green for a quick off-leash break.
Dog off-leash allowed at all times. Listed in the City of Sydney dog off-leash areas program.
This beautiful patch of grass is located right in between the 2 Google buildings, next to the wharf. It's a beautiful place to just pass by, or spend some time hanging around. Many people do unleash their dogs here, which is fine given that it's actually dog friendly. There is a roll of plastic bag hanging on one of the lamp posts, in case you need one for your dog's poop.
Nice place for photography with wide open grassed area, lots of restaurants nearby, plenty of street parking if you get lucky, it's surrounded by the beautiful Opera House, the Harbour Bridge and Sydney city Skyline, there is a Marina with some big dollars in gorgeous yachts, good place for a nice walk or exercise.
Great view, plenty of parking space if you’re willing to pay. Great for fitness types, etc
Nice an quiet park close to the Harbour. Not many shops around, just a few hotels and offices but a few minutes away from Darling Harbour
A fun run was held at this place. It was easy to go here. About 3-5 minute walk from the Lightrail (The Star).
