I had an outstanding stay at the Terminus Hotel Pyrmont. The building’s heritage charm combined with its modern renovation gives it a really unique boutique feel stylish without trying too hard. My room was impeccably clean, well presented, and thoughtfully designed, with a super comfortable bed and plenty of natural light. Even though the hotel sits right in the heart of Pyrmont, it was surprisingly peaceful at night. The location is genuinely unbeatable: a short stroll to Darling Harbour, The Star, the light rail, and a huge choice of cafés and restaurants. It made getting around Sydney incredibly easy. The pub downstairs is a major highlight — great food, a relaxed vibe, a beautiful beer garden, and staff who are friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. Check-in was smooth, and the whole place feels well run and welcoming. Overall, the Terminus delivers excellent value, loads of character, and a really memorable stay. I’d happily return and recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, stylish, and perfectly located base in Sydney.

Good pub food. Steak and chips for only $20 (Mondays special) and it was perfectly cooked steak (medium). Their pumpkin salad was generous and delicious too. They serve an array of local beers including the newtowner, current favourite beer of 2026

We recently held my wife’s 60th birthday celebration in the upstairs function area at The Terminus Hotel, and the entire experience was outstanding. From the initial booking through to organising the food and drinks, the process was seamless. Maddie was prompt, professional, and incredibly helpful in answering our many questions, which made the planning completely stress-free. On the night, the staff were exceptional — attentive, friendly, and well organised. Every dish was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavour. Our 50 guests were genuinely impressed with both the venue and the overall atmosphere. The Terminus Hotel offers a beautiful, warm, and welcoming environment with a great vibe. It’s conveniently located and offers excellent value for money. I cannot recommend this venue highly enough for a special function or celebration.

A great venue for a lazy afternoon, enjoy drinks and a great Sunday roast. The Yorkshire pudding was one of the best I ever had. The tune Nicoise salad was another great choice! Service is friendly and efficient. Highly recommended.
