My amazing partner planned a surprise birthday dinner for me at Barangaroo’s Meat & Wine Co. Firstly, thank you to our server, Bianca, for making the evening extra special. She was incredibly kind and attentive, and made sure we were comfortable and happy throughout the night. I’ve heard a lot about The Meat & Wine Co from friends and colleagues, and I can confirm the food definitely lived up to the hype. The photos speak for themselves. The entire experience was unforgettable, and we will definitely be coming back again for the food and atmosphere.
Visited Meat & Wine Co upon recommendation and they certainly lived up to the high expectations. The quality of the food was great, we chose the Coffee Rub Kangaroo and the Monte Fillet. They have a variety of meat cuts available, perfect for steak lovers. Be sure to save room for dessert too, they have several options - the sundae was phenomenal! The service was fast and our water was refilled at times. There is plenty of seating available, but booking ahead of time is a safer option. I would recommend visiting Meat & Wine Co, and definitely for special occasions.
Had an absolutely great experience here. The venue itself looks stunning. Warm lighting, classy Afro-inspired décor, and a lively yet relaxed atmosphere that fits the Barangaroo waterfront perfectly. Service was friendly and well-timed throughout. I ordered the Monte grain-fed New Yorker steak, and it was cooked spot-on, juicy, tender, and perfectly seasoned. The chicken breast was beautifully marinated and full of flavour, while the coffee-rub kangaroo skewers were surprisingly tender and juicy, a great standout on the menu. Everything was well presented and cooked with attention to detail. Prices are on the premium side, but in this case, the quality and experience really justified it. Compared to other high-end steak spots around Sydney, this one delivered both flavour and consistency. Overall, a fantastic dining experience. Great food, attentive service, and a setting that makes you want to linger longer. Definitely worth the visit, and I’d be happy to return to try more of their cuts and sides next time.
Really great experience at Meat Wine and Co. We went for a three course dinner with drinks. The entrees were really tasty and unique! We had a spicy pork belly and Ceviche that was plated inside of scallop shells! So unique For mains we had a nice steak and a Beef Rib Half Rack. They were both equally impressive, perfectly cooked, perfect sized with a nice house salad and crunchy chips. For dessert, the world known and renowned crème brûlée. Made to perfection, absolutely no mishaps. Sometimes I thought that they had robots cooking their food because it was so good!
I visited this establishment on a Saturday night based on a ‘definitely go-to’ local recommendation for good Australian steak. This chain is well known for their 46-day dry-aged Angus steak cuts. I ordered their dry-aged T-bone cut done to Medium-Rare. I can 100% affirm that their dry-aged cuts certainly lives up to their high reputation. The cut was extremely tender and the flavours were very robust and complex from the ageing process. The hostess recommended pairing my cut with the creamy garlic sauce which turned out to perfect with just the right amount of kick to really bring out the cut flavours without being overbearing. The dining atmosphere and vibes are very welcoming, classy and rustic. Great location too. Top-notch customer service - really appreciated the personal recommendations on the sauce and wine pairings! The prices are actually very reasonable considering the reputation, quality and location. This place gets overbooked often especially during dinner time on Fridays / the weekends. So an advance reservation is highly recommended! Will definitely be visiting again to savour!!
