Collins Beach is a beach in Manly. Dogs are not currently allowed at this beach.
Cute little beach, but certainly not "Sydney's best" lol. Lovely long shallows so great spot for inexperienced swimmers. Be aware that if you come shortly after heavy rains there will be plenty of rubbish washed on shore. Did not see the little penguins but didn't search too hard either. Would come again mid week, not worth fighting the traffic on The Spit for this 😎 No dogs
Collins Beach is a quiet lovely little place hidden few minutes away from the main scene at Manly Beach. Which makes it perfect to go for a chill day with family while enjoying a little privacy away from the crowd. Definitely suits family with kids as the water is very calm. However, there’s no public toilet and wash room to clean up and get rinsed after swimming. This place is accessible through a walking track from the southern end of Stuart Street and is around 10min walk from the closest parking. The view is amazing and really enjoyable. There’s also access to the jump rock at the walking trail. Definitely one of my favourite places to visit whenever I am at Manly.
My fav beach in Sydney, so calm✨ once you are in manly, straight to litlle manly, take the path in incredible vegetions , and you arrived in Collins beach, bring some water ! perfect place to have a peacefull day 🤗 you can see lil penguins depending of the season it’s absolutly amazing
My go to beach on a day off, a bit far from where I live bit still the best option for a chill day, never crowded usually something going on tho, its easy to meet new people on manly junp rock and it has various hights so progression is easy. If its not too cold, come in the evening on a weekday as you will have the beach to yourself and jumping from the cliffs into a cool ocean with the sun setting over the sydney skyline is an unbeatable feeling...
Like others have said, this beach is not crowded, is family friendly and lovely. You are having some privacy in a rather secluded area while still be able to enjoy a relaxing day while avoiding the crowd.
