The Oriental Hotel Springwood

Really friendly staff and lovely when the bands are playing out the front. Love sitting here with our dogs!

The Ori is a fantastic pub with a dog-friendly beer garden. It has a great atmosphere, with chilled live bands playing on weekends. The food is well beyond standard pub grub — everything is high quality and reasonably priced. The staff are friendly, and the slow-cooked lamb shoulder is a must-try. Plus, there’s a great selection of Coopers beers.

The lads working the bar here are fantastic and love the pride in pouring a Guinness. Great atmosphere and food was fantastic, we will be back.

We were 2 couples (one of the people being in a wheelchair) having lunch before a show at the Springwood theatre next door. The hotel is wheelchair friendly so long as you can move all the chairs blocking a path into the hotel. We were immediately helped by a lovely woman who went out of her way to find a table in a quieter area which better accommodated the wheelchair. The guys at the bar were happy and friendly. The food was very enjoyable, especially the Bangers and Mash with a Yorkshire Pudding. Our friends also shared Salt and Pepper Calamari....very nice. We couldn't complain about any of the staff, even the girl who cleared the table...super cheerful. This was our second time there....we'll be back again.

Went to the Ori for some lunch at the new bistro. We had the salmon and a Sunday roast. The beef roast was in a delicious soft Yorkshire pudding with mash, roast vegetables and a delicious roast gravy. Serving size was more then generous and left us with very full tummies. Price was extremely reasonable, the food spectacular. Highly recommend, next time I'll be saving room for gelato and dessert.
