Royal Hotel

Had the lunch special, prawn pasta, was delicious!! Also bowl of chips with gravy. The gravy cost $3 extra and was not much more than a thimble full. Asked for a few chilli flakes for the pasta on the side if they had them, waitress said yes but it would be extra cost. ( Didn’t dare ask for parmesan cheese lol. After spending $38 I thought it might be thrown in. But in saying that it was nice , place clean and nice out look to the terrace.

A thoroughly enjoyable stay at this hotel. The staff were helpful, the room had all that I needed for a reasonable price, the bar and bistro were well stocked and the food was excellent. Easy access to public transport and right in the heart of the action of this little bohemian enclave. i would definitely stay again.

Value for money, fed 5 people for under $100 and we are all full and happy. The food is fresh and delicious I will definitely come back. Recommending the halloumi bruschetta, grilled barramundi and bolognese.

Stopped in for lunch while visiting Springwood. Great meals at reasonable prices. Great services and very friendly staff (and locals). Small pokies room and large bistro room with pool table. Close to train station.

We stayed here as it is walking distance to everything. The friendly staff were very helpful when needed. The bed was clean and comfy. The room was spacious. The water hot. We did not eat here as we have family close by. Nit-picking is not for us eg the tight taps dripped , the history of the old hotel is interesting and one cannot have resort type expectations with character!
