Dog rules

Dogs are welcome on-leash at John Williams Reserve, a Shoalhaven City Council park. Under the NSW Companion Animals Act 1998, dogs must be kept on a lead and under effective control in public places throughout the Shoalhaven, except in Council's designated off-leash areas. Dogs are prohibited within 10 metres of children's play equipment and food preparation areas.

This playground needs some serious maintenance. The last flood has damaged the timber edging, washed away the woodchips and damaged the soft mats under the swings. The equipment is old and needs repair in some areas but mostly still functions. When and after it rains the ground around the equipment gets very soggy.
