great place with such wonderful staff , and the food was delicious , I was served straight away , I had a hot matcha and strawberry and pancakes with bacon and maple syrup 10/10

Very good. Fernside has clearly put thought into what they do, and it shows in the details. The banana bread is excellent—moist, properly flavoured, and not oversweetened. It's the kind of bake that suggests someone in the kitchen knows what they're doing. The coffee is solid, and the broader menu holds up well. Service is friendly and efficient. It's a comfortable space to sit for a coffee and something to eat, or to grab and go. The sort of neighbourhood spot that does the fundamentals right and doesn't overcomplicate things. Worth a visit if you're in the area.

The coffee tastes amazing. The baristas were all very friendly. Ive had coffee many times. Every time the standard was very high. I have the chicken schnitzel many times. It is one of the best. Surprised it didnt cost me more, I wouldve been fine to pay a few more dollars for the taste and portions. Now It is my regular take away coffee shop as I go to work every Tuesday.
