We celebrated a work farewell here on Wednesday evening and stayed for the trivia (which, miraculously, we won!). The trivia was a lot of fun, great trivia host, the pub is well set out, has a happy hour, a good food menu, a smoking area, and pool table. Apparently there’s discounts on cocktails later at night too. The staff were wonderful. I shall return (probably for the fun trivia again)

The staff member was extremely unfriendly. While I understand that this may be a challenging period for hospitality workers, anyone working in this industry should be prepared to welcome guests in a professional and courteous manner. Unfortunately, their attitude suggested a lack of motivation and care for customer service. If someone feels exhausted or disengaged from hospitality, it may be worth reconsidering their role. Additionally, there was a cockroach next to our table, which was completely unacceptable and further impacted our experience.

Really friendly staff, good location and nice vibe. Did find a piece of plastic on top of my lemon in my drink which put me off a little bit. Seems like a one off mistake however, would come back again :)

The pub was nice and comfortable for dinner and drinks on a Monday night. They didn't seem to have weekly specials for meals. We got the rump steak with chips and veg for $25 each. The steak was beautifully cooked, tender and delicious. The portion was average. The Bernaise sauce was good. The peppercorn sauce however was not edible as it tasted too strong and bitter. Some of the Broccolini seemed burnt so tasted dry and bitter.
