Stanwell Park Beach Reserve has an off-leash green-zone beach where dogs are allowed off-leash at all times. Dogs run on the open sand under effective control, with a playground, BBQ facilities, toilets and shade in the reserve behind. It is a relaxed coastal spot for a run and a swim. A friendly beach for an off-leash outing.

Dog rules

Off-leash is permitted in the designated green-zone section at the northern end (north of the creek) only; dogs must stay on-leash elsewhere. Check the signs at the beach for the off-leash zone boundary.

Well maintained grounds. Good playground. Shaded areas to park. Nice open grassed area for kids to kick a ball around or play touch footy. The cafe has reopened. We had a nice coffee and a great wagu burger. Reasonably priced.

This place has lovely nature, a kids’ playground, BBQ spots, a beach with little lakes by the ocean, paraglider views, and lots of free parking. You can use charcoal BBQs, and there are toilets and showers too. Highly recommended! 😊🥰☺️

Nice place for a picnic, and also for swimming. Nice little stream coming in for younger kids to paddle and play in. The main ocean is very beautiful, but quite wavy and very deep. There is a lifeguard on duty, in the middle. Nice playground as well, and a kiosk, the bathrooms are normally clean. There are a couple of walking trails, and a little river is going down. You can watch the hang-gliders coming down from the hill and landing in the beach. Nice place, and watch out for jellyfish and bluebottles while swimming! 😉
