Castle Glen Reserve combines a large open oval with shaded bush tracks beside the neighbouring school. Dogs are welcome on-leash, so it works well for a steady walk that mixes open space with a wander through the trees. With a cafe on site and shops next door, it is an easy place to add a coffee stop to a local walk.
Under the Companion Animals Act 1998, dogs must be on-leash at all times in all parks and public places. Dogs are prohibited within 10 metres of children's playground equipment and food preparation areas, from active sports fields during organised sport, public bathing areas, school grounds, and child care centres. Dog faeces must be removed immediately. (Source: The Hills Shire Council — Stay out of the Doghouse, thehills.nsw.gov.au.)

Large park with a few baseball fields. Good for the dogs when there is no sport. Car park off the street has plenty of space but can see it super busy when there are a lot of sports on. Right next door to Knightsbridge Shops.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
