Field 2 Fred Caterson Reserve is a dog-friendly park in Castle Hill with plenty of shade.
Under the Companion Animals Act 1998, dogs must be on-leash at all times in all parks and public places. Dogs are prohibited within 10 metres of children's playground equipment and food preparation areas, from active sports fields during organised sport, public bathing areas, school grounds, and child care centres. Dog faeces must be removed immediately. (Source: The Hills Shire Council — Stay out of the Doghouse, thehills.nsw.gov.au.)
Nice oval with plenty of parking, play equipment, basket ball court
There are totally six fields out of which field number one two and three are together and rest are located nearby. I like this place as it is a quiet place and there is ample space to walk around. There is a decently maintained cemetery close by. Toilets are required to be maintained better. A very basic children's play area also is available.
About 6 Soccer (during season) and (synthetic pitch) cricket fields. Great location tucked away amongst bushes, ample parking.
Love the Castle Hill trail in this area
A great football field, canteen etc during the season.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
