Field 2 Fred Caterson Reserve is a well-regarded dog-friendly park in Castle Hill where dogs are welcome on lead. You'll find shade and BBQs nearby.

Dog rules

Under the Companion Animals Act 1998, dogs must be on-leash at all times in all parks and public places. Dogs are prohibited within 10 metres of children's playground equipment and food preparation areas, from active sports fields during organised sport, public bathing areas, school grounds, and child care centres. Dog faeces must be removed immediately. (Source: The Hills Shire Council — Stay out of the Doghouse, thehills.nsw.gov.au.)

There is no sign for field 3A, not in google maps, nor on the field. They have 3 seperate parkings and if you enter the wrong one, find parking, get out and find you are not in the correct field, you will lose 15 mins easily. If you are guest team, not nice.

There are totally six fields out of which field number one two and three are together and rest are located nearby. I like this place as it is a quiet place and there is ample space to walk around. There is a decently maintained cemetery close by. Toilets are required to be maintained better. A very basic children's play area also is available.

About 6 Soccer (during season) and (synthetic pitch) cricket fields. Great location tucked away amongst bushes, ample parking.

An ideal destination for cricket and soccer fans, track and field events, baseball enthusiasts, walkers, pet lovers, and bird watchers.
