I am writing to express my deep disappointment with my recent visit. While one of the service boys was great and very helpful, the rest of the experience was unacceptable. The Food: I ordered the mushroom bruschetta, but it was overpowered by a harsh vinegar flavour that made it difficult to eat. The Service & Hygiene: The table was dirty upon arrival. When I asked for it to be cleaned, the lady (who appeared to be the boss) was dismissive, stating they were "too busy." The Interaction: My dine-in order was served in a takeaway container. When I simply asked why I couldn't have a normal cup for a dine-in meal, I was looking forward to my meal, but the manager's hostile demeanor made the environment very uncomfortable. It’s hard to enjoy your food when the leadership is that disrespectful." The Conclusion: I ended up leaving $20 on the table and walking out. You have successfully ensured I will never return. People eat out for the "good vibes" and to feel valued, not to be treated as a burden. If you are too busy to be hospitable, it is better to stay home and rest.Trust me, you won’t see me back. Thank you for the reply. However, since the person who made me uncomfortable and served the sub-standard meal was the owner, asking me to use a contact form feels like a double standard. It appears to be an attempt to cover up the feedback rather than addressing the actual behavior. You should focus on providing good service and quality food rather than trying to show off. You have to serve well to get a good response; a template reply won't fix a problem that starts with the leadership.....

Barista clearly knows their craft. One of the best coffees I’ve had here.

Have been here many times, the coffee is ok but the cakes/donuts are always stale. These coffee shops need to understand if you haven't sold your cakes at the end of the day they need to go into the bin, not the fridge and then be brought out day after day until they're sold.

I have given this cafe a couple of chances but after my visit today I won’t be making the same mistake again. $14 for a Turkish bread roll that was about 4 days old. The thing was falling apart as I bit into it. I got it to take away and was already driving home otherwise I would have returned and asked for a refund. In my previous visits, the service has been very slow, even during non busy times. To get anything toasted will have you waiting at least 15 mins! Looks like my review isn’t too different from others here. Hopefully Castle Towers does something about this and puts a worthy cafe down that end of ground floor!

Good late. Coffee is the shed standard been which makes a coffee with a bright start and a chocolate middle with just a hint of tobacco. They use milk labs which is not my favourite but they managed a good foam and which was just the right temperature.
