Dogs welcome — rules apply•Dog rules

Sarah Peninton Reserve is a small local park in Glebe with shade and a playground. Dogs are welcome on-leash, kept clear of the playground and sports courts, as it is not one of the City of Sydney's designated off-leash parks. It is an easy, low-key spot for a short walk close to home. A simple on-leash neighbourhood park.

Dog rules

Dogs are welcome in this park but must be kept on a leash at all times. Off-leash exercise is only permitted in the City of Sydney's 50 designated off-leash parks — this is not one of them. Dogs are prohibited from playgrounds, sports courts, and enclosed sports ovals. Please pick up after your dog and use bins where provided. Excellent use of this slim inexperienced area. I advocate going for a walk just before sunset. It is amazingly lovely, smooth, and has a high-quality ecosystem round it.

Best use of this narrow green space. Good spot to sit under a tree and have lunch. #feelingEnlightened
