Caves Beach is one of those places that surprises you with how much it has to offer. The sea caves at the southern end are incredible to explore at low tide — definitely check the tide times before you go. The beach is patrolled during summer, the water is clean, and there's free parking right by the surf club. The clifftop lookout nearby gives you a beautiful view of the whole coastline. Great for families, swimmers, and surfers alike. One of the best beaches in the Newcastle/Lake Macquarie area!

Nice beach with caves, beautiful scenery. Better to visit low tide. Can walk inside caves and relax. Beach is good for swim. Lifeguard also there. Parking washroom avaliable. Coffee shops and restaurants also available. Worth to visit, highly recommend. #visitaustraliaash #nature #beach #nsw #centralcoast #cavesbeach #ashfootprints

Really lovely spot! To get here, take the stairs down to the beach and head south. The main cave literally goes under the headland. Be mindful of tides.

It's a beautiful place accessible by foot. It can be a bit rugged as one needs steady footing over rocks. It has plenty of caves to rest away from the sun. Just be aware of the tides. Absolutely stunning place to visit..
