Booth Park is a dog-friendly park in Kurri Kurri with plenty of shade.
Dog rules
Dogs are welcome on-leash at this park. Under the NSW Companion Animals Act, dogs must be kept on a leash in all public areas except designated off-leash zones. Cessnock City Council has six designated off-leash areas — visit council's website for locations.

What people say
Recently upgraded the park a little. Shade cloth added with gravel floor, cement path around. Has slide, swings and see saw.
Shame on you Cessnock council, received a fine for parking on the medium strip, as the road is narrow, ..... more cars were on the medium strip, which didn’t receive a fine, I asked and checked, also Booth Park could have the best park similar to Weston, which has the soft foam underneath when playing and the toilets are locked up each time we have visited.....
Park is now the Kurri Kurri Netball courts. Still a playground but 12 netball courts and a half basketball court
Is a alright park If you just want to kick a ball or a game of football
Nice big open space for the kids to run. There is a couple of cement cricket wickets where our boys played under 10's on Saturdays. There is also a couple of practice nets in the south east corner. Reasonably light traffic flow & within a 50kph zone.
