Burdekin Park is a dog-friendly park in Singleton where dogs are welcome on lead. You'll find drinking water, parking, and toilets, making it an easy spot for a longer outing.
Dogs are welcome on-leash at this park. Under the NSW Companion Animals Act, dogs must be kept on a leash in all public areas except designated off-leash zones. Singleton Council's only designated off-leash area is at Merrick Park, Darlington.
I absolutely love this park! The bats are so gorgeous 🥰 Really like the little features around it as well especially the water fountain and bird bath ☺️ Only thing is the toilets need more ventilation and a hook on the back of the doors would be good too. Very peaceful place to stop.
The bats have finally reduced, but now the park feels lifeless without the huge old trees. Hopefully the trees fill in again and the bats stay away. Decent place to stop for a break although parking is poor. The toilets are acceptable.
A nice park to stop and have a packed lunch with the bats hanging out in the trees
It's a pretty park, but the bats have ruined the once beautiful trees and you can't hear the MC at either ANZAC Day or Remembrance Day services at the cenotaph due to the screeching bats
Beautiful day and very tranquil. Was Until the mad traffic congestion started on George Street with school and mine workers going to work making it pretty noisy and worst of all, cars and trucks bumper to bumper and very chaotic in and around that area for hours.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
