Magic Garden is a dog-friendly park in Maitland where dogs are welcome on lead. You'll find BBQs nearby, while Rex & Friends is around 450 metres away for an easy post-walk coffee.
Dogs must be on a leash in all public areas unless within a designated off-leash zone. Dog owners must pick up and dispose of dog waste in the disposal bins provided. Dogs must wear a collar and identification tag. Restricted or dangerous dogs are not permitted in off-leash areas. While I wouldn’t personally describe this area as “magical”, but I do believe it’s a great area for picnics, bbqs and social gatherings
This is such a great park. Lots of equipment suitable for toddlers and young children including 2 slides, bridges, climbing wall, and carousel swing with older and younger child seats. Also two normal swings for older children. There's little paths with bridges to walk over, rubber crocodiles and snakes to climb on. Black and white high contrast spinning equipment. Metal drums and xylophone musical instruments. There's a flying fox style swing and a wheelchair swing. Lots of seating for adults or others with poor mobility. Paths are all accessible and the park has a child fence around the perimeter. Fantastic park!
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
