ANZAC Park is a dog-friendly park in East Maitland where dogs are welcome on lead. You'll find shade, parking, and toilets nearby, while Hunter River Hotel is around 400 metres away for an easy post-walk drink.
Dogs must be on a leash in all public areas unless within a designated off-leash zone. Dog owners must pick up and dispose of dog waste in the disposal bins provided. Dogs must wear a collar and identification tag. Restricted or dangerous dogs are not permitted in off-leash areas. Nice park with mature grown trees tucked between the old Maitland Gaol and the train line. Nice place to watch the wildlife and passing trains. Plenty of parking available.
Lovely small park opposite jail and railway line. Picnic tables and shade over playground coming soon. Toilets at tourist info across road if timed correctly. Great playground for all ages.
nice park close to my old stomping ground not much has changed but well kept thanks
I love this park. It's spacious and fun for all ages. Just disgusting whomever decided to take a permanent marker to the equiptment. Hopefully some will know of the 'Blayney and Emz' that done this, and get them back here to clean this rubbish attempt at street art off..
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
