A real shame shopping in here. Food took about 45 minutes to be ready, once my partner asked about our coffes, he was pretty rude about it. When he was waiting to ask about his coffee he seen the man drop a customer's fish on the floor and pick it up and still use it in the order. Toilets were disgusting, no soap, tables were gross.
Passing through Scone. Chose this cafe based on reviews. You have to walk past the kitchen and freezer room to reach the amenities. Kitchen grubby. Freezer chaotic. Toilet needed attention (bin full, no paper towel, basin gross). Food looked good when it came out but having seen the kitchen, we were concerned about eating. Tasted fine. Two young staff looked completely uninterested in being there. Whole place is tired and shabby. Gordon Ramsay material. Only redeeming features were the excellent coffee and good pricing ($20 for burger, chips w gravy, cappuccino).
Old school milk bar. very friendly owner. Burger had lots of filling. Cooked something up even though the shop was almost closed.
Great cafe, reminds me of a classic British cafe. Had the big breakfast, again reminded me of an English fry up, lots of bread, bacon, beans, hash browns. Big size, good value in my opinion. Customer service is great, friendly place. Come here for breakfast, I have heard great things about their lunch menu.
So exciting to know that in just a couple weeks this cafe will be opening and offering bigger and better than ever. Sadly the awesome team lost the battle to save the Satur Takeaway from fire recently. But they have not given up and this new location promises to be better than ever with brilliant burgers, cracking good coffees and lots more. Come along and support them. You won't regret it.
