Lovely experience, very down to earth staff. Coffee was satisfying and croissant was baked to perfection. Visiting there again (today) for brekkie
Had lunch at The Coffee Emporium with my wife, how lucky was I, it only cost me one of my kidneys. I acknowledge the rising costs to small business, I have been there!! However my recent experience has left me severely scarred. Ordered 2 x chicken melts on sourdough, iced chocolate and a large thick shake, $20 each for a single chicken melt is an absolute rip off. Have provided pictures as proof, lucky to escape with the rest of my body organs in tack and not having to sell them on eBay! The other kicker is if you order from the table using the QR code, helping them out doing their job you will be charged a fee on top, seriously!!!!!
Moderate to shocking experience, while waiting in line 2 people left the que after waiting a extended period of time for service. Staff was lovely but one person was working the register and making the coffee, and seeing as you pay such a large "weekend surcharge" one extra junior staff member wouldn't hurt. Ordered two meals at average of $25 each and the meal portions was so small, 2 mini waffles and a quarter banana with a scoop of ice cream doesn't warrant a $26 price tag. Chicken melt was 2 thin slices of tomato and 1/4 cup of chicken on one piece of bread. The taste was average, pretty disappointing from what I hoped since iv wanted to come here for a while
Found it all a bit lacklustre. 2 scrambled eggs on 1 slice of toast $12. Add $6 for 1 rasher of bacon. I have had big breakfast that cost less & was much nicer.
What an incredible cafe! Professional service with a very friendly and kind staff, delicious food and drinks. The welcoming atmosphere made me feel at home it a must to visit when you are around the area. One word to describe the experience “Awesomeness”. Thank you for food and making my day!
