Excellent breakfast and a perfect post-Parkrun stop. Friendly, proactive staff and well worth the short wait. The breakfast was generous, made with quality produce, and reasonably priced. Great coffee too. Highly recommend!
On Good Friday, my wife went to practise her Japanese Flute in St Leonards Park, off Ridge Street. I walked up later and met her in the park. She suggested we have beverages in a local cafe, if there was anywhere open. We found Venn Cafe open and busy. On perusing the extensive menu, we decided to have breakfast. My wife chose the Egg wrap ($15.50) consisting of scrambled egg, grilled haloumi, avocado salsa, wilted spinach & house made basil, Kale & cashew nuts pesto wrap in a spinach tortilla. She loved the flavours and enjoyed it immensely. I chose the Breakfast Potato ($24) consisting of smashed thin crispy cheese potato, sundried tomato, grilled broccolini with herb butter, crispy bacon and a poached egg. topped with crème fraiche, house made kale basil and cashew nut pesto. Wow, what a delicious meal, so much bacon provided and the cheese covered potato was divine. My wife chose to drink Chai Latte with Almond milk ($6) and I chose the Sticky Chai infused with Soy milk ($6.50). We really enjoyed our beverages with the food. The menu is very nice and has some other items, we will go back to try. We didn't mind paying the Holiday surcharge as the food and drinks were worth the cost. Staff were warm and friendly. Breakfast in this wonderful cafe is highly recommended.
Love this cafe. A reasonable menu selection, great coffee, but most of all fast efficient service. I was impressed anything g I ordered came quick. Great work
This is my favorite cafe in North Sydney. I used to live in the area so was able to enjoy their food on a regular basis. Even though I live further out now, I still make effort to come have their chicken satay wrap every now and then. Thank you for keeping your standard for all these years.
First time here. A few very tempting things on the menu but settled for the weekend special fish burger. Bun was fresh, fish was fresh crumbed and fried crispy with pickled onion and fennel. Chips were good, crispy and hot. All tasted fresh and clean and not greasy. Service was very efficient and friendly. Will be back to try the other things.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
