This is a beautiful place to come and sit and read or take a moment to take in this beautiful view of the harbour here in neutral Bay. You can even see the botanical Gardens across the water. It’s also wonderful little spots during summer if you want some more intimate gathering:) I’ve seen people swimming and relaxing on the grass. Highly recommended⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Basic little street park on the water. There is a sandy beach at low tide, however, you have to jump off and scale the wall back up to the park of you want to get to the water edge. Lovely shade trees of you want to picnic on a sunny day. The view is mostly of the small area of boats from the yacht club.
This reserve offers a nice view of the bay near Kurraba Point. Foot access only. Not suitable for people with disabilities. There is seating here. Some shade offered by trees. No toilets. On-street parking located nearby. A weekday-only bus service operates a couple of blocks away from the reserve.
Running alongside The Royal Sydney Yacht Squadron, tucked away down a flight of steps is this hidden reserve. There's seating and a small little beach, with waves lapping against the shore. It's not exactly a point break so leave your boogie board and flippers at home. During the weekend, this isn't the quietest spot, the tinkering tap of metallic sail lines, and the buzz of the bistro above are stark reminders of the noisy world in which we live. However, this splash of green, in a never-ending sea of grey does provide some welcome respite. Visit during the week for a more serene experience.
This small east-facing park is tucked away in Kirribilli and unless you know it’s there you could walk past without realising it exists. It has a couple of benches and a few square metres of grass and overlooks Neutral Bay. About 15 minutes’ walk from Milsons Point, there’s no shops of cafes nearby so pick up something at Kirribilli shops and walk down to enjoy the sunrise.
