Piato Restaurant is a cafe in Mcmahons Point where dog access has not yet been confirmed — it's worth checking before you visit.
I’ve been here before and had a good experience, which is why this visit was quite disappointing. The food quality does not seem to be the same as it used to be. The lamb pasta took a very long time to be served, the portion was small, and it was extremely salty. Some of the pasta was undercooked and stuck together. The seafood risoni had a different issue — it was very bland overall. Possibly because the lamb pasta was overly salty, the contrast was quite obvious. The risoni came out in clumps and was not fully cooked. I believe the kitchen, especially whoever is responsible for the pasta dishes, may need further training or better quality control. I hope this feedback helps the restaurant improve and return to its previous standard.
The location is perfect, this place is a great example of how a Cafe should be. Very friendly and engaging staff makes you feel special. The food was as great as the service. The poached eggs were cooked to absolute perfection. Amazing thanks, Chef.
Love the atmosphere here! The dinner menu is much better than the breakfast menu (but that's just me). The pastas were really really good! Really flavorful! The staff here are so friendly and welcoming and the inside seating is so cosy. Love the plant decor. Would definitely recommend.
I ordered the smoked salmon and avocado sandwich and my wife ordered the chicken one. They were both very delicious and fresh - especially the chicken it was really nicely cooked and juice. The coffee was also one of the best that I have ever tried in Sydney.
We had a fantastic lunch at Piato restaurant! The seafood pasta and ravioli we ordered were both absolutely delicious. The flavors were rich and fresh, and the portions were generous. But what really made our meal stand out was the exceptional service - our server was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend Piato for a great lunch spot in Sydney. We'll definitely be back!
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
