Watt Park is a highly rated dog-friendly park in Crows Nest with an off-leash area where dogs can roam freely. You'll find BBQs, parking, and toilets nearby, while The North Spoon is just a short walk away for an easy post-walk coffee.
North Sydney is a dog-friendly area and all Council parks and public reserves are off-leash areas, except for bushland areas, playing fields when organised sporting events are in progress, and venues where dogs are not allowed. Dogs must be under effective control at all times. (Source: North Sydney Council — northsydney.nsw.gov.au)
This park is lovely, a nice green hideaway. The park has a bubbler and playground, as well as a few benches. I take my dog there to throw the ball and he loves it If you are going in the summer months, bring some mosquito repellent as the mozzies can be pretty bad!
Excellent spot - getting to the toilet with kids can be a bit of a mission
Beautiful park to relax enjoy the views of the harbour & be surrounded by nature & large trees great for a picnic as this park is secluded, there is a great deal of mosquitos here due to damp grass & it being an enclosed area backed by rocky cliff walls. However we couldn’t find public toilets here had to walk down to Luna park to use a rest room as the public toilets on the foreshore walk are locked..
The park is described as having playing equipments from the generations gone by. it is walking distance from Wendy's secret garden. it's slippery slide is an extra long which you will not see in any of the modern parks and the children will love it. The equipments are few but because they are from the previous generations the children love it. Also on the park grounds you will see trees that are centuries old and of various size and shape. There is parking space around the park or alternatively walking distance from missions point train station or McMohan's point ferry stop which may be a bit of a walk.
This historic park has one of the largest Kauri Pines (Agathis robusta) I've seen. A lovely park on the edge of the Sydney Harbour in North Sydney.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
