I’ve visited a few times with my partner, and the food has consistently been excellent. The breakfast menu offers a nice variety, with some unique options that keep things interesting. On weekends, they usually have a special, which is a great way to mix things up. The staff are friendly, attentive, and quick to clear tables, making the experience even better. I also love that it’s pet-friendly, seeing dogs around really adds to the warm, welcoming vibe.

Excelsior Jones was seriously impressive. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was lively but still relaxed!! SLAY!!!!!!! It’s kind of place where you instantly feel comfortable. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience smooth without being overbearing. PERIOD. The food was the real highlight. Everything tasted fresh, well-balanced, and clearly made with care. The BLAT was DELISH! Overall, it felt like a place that knows exactly what it’s doing. Great food, great vibe, and just a genuinely enjoyable experience. I had a blast and would definitely go back.

Food was delicious, but service was very very poor. I ordered the big brekky with poached eggs, and received scrambled. I decided to stick with it as the eggs looked good anyway, until a member of staff came over and asked about my hash browns! She said I had been given two hash browns, and was only meant to receive one and she wanted to take one of them off my plate! This is completely unacceptable service, how can you serve a customer their food and then take it away from them! After I pointed out that I had received the wrong eggs and no I don't want you to literally take my food off my plate thank you very much, she did not apologise or ask if I'd like it fixed but instead stomped off angry. After this she then loudly chewed out the waitress who had taken my order, and I am pretty sure the eggs mix-up was not the waitress fault but was in fact the kitchen's fault, as the waitress did confirm with me that I wanted poached eggs. Overall the manager seemed very unpleasant to be around for both her staff and the customers, despite her excellent staff trying their best. To serve a customer their food and then try and take it away from them is completely unacceptable. What was she going to do with it, give it to another customer!? Gross, unhygienic! Had my food been on someone else's plate before it was given to me? Probably not, but now I can't be sure. Good food, shocking service.

A very nice cafe with delicious dishes and coffee. The food is well presented and in large portion. I can see the chef is very passionate on cooking even a simple toast with scramble eggs tastes so yummy. Very friendly owner and comfy environment.
