Great park, nice basketball court awesome play equipment, dog park, cool lookout. The kids played for 3 hours without whinging. Toilets could be upgraded a bit but do the job.
This is a very underrated park in my opinion. It possesses a very unique and enigmatic energy, it has a vibe that could be kind of surreal. Like something out of twin peaks but if twin peaks was set in a desert research base in the 1960s and was about people doing weird cold war science fiction experiments. I would compare the energy to that of a water tower. I think it's the presence of the raised rotunda. This is a park that makes you want to listen to talking heads
Nice big park with a basketball court.
It's a very peaceful park with some flowers and decoration that looks like japanese garden. during cherryblossoms season you will see sakura. you will also find azalea flowers in september
I love this park. The idea of a peace park. The size and the awesome facilities. A fab new playground, extensive lawn. The viewing rotunda. Really worth exploring with your kids. And think about the history, 1790s. It would be nice if there were mention of the first nations that exist/ed here.
