Peace Park is a spacious local gem at Ashbury with an observation deck, lookout views, a basketball court and great play equipment. Dogs are allowed off-leash in the council-designated area under effective control, kept clear of playgrounds and food areas. There is BBQ facilities, toilets and parking on hand. A well-loved off-leash park with a view.
Council-designated off-leash area at Peace Park. Dogs may exercise off-leash under the effective control of a competent person. Dogs must remain on-leash within 10 metres of food preparation areas, playgrounds and sports fields.
Great park, nice basketball court awesome play equipment, dog park, cool lookout. The kids played for 3 hours without whinging. Toilets could be upgraded a bit but do the job.
A Local gem. Very spacious, with great views from above the Observation deck. It has a BBQ area, a small skate & bike area. A kids playground & plenty room for figs to enjoy this off the leash park
This is a very underrated park in my opinion. It possesses a very unique and enigmatic energy, it has a vibe that could be kind of surreal. Like something out of twin peaks but if twin peaks was set in a desert research base in the 1960s and was about people doing weird cold war science fiction experiments. I would compare the energy to that of a water tower. I think it's the presence of the raised rotunda. This is a park that makes you want to listen to talking heads
It's a very peaceful park with some flowers and decoration that looks like japanese garden. during cherryblossoms season you will see sakura. you will also find azalea flowers in september
