The Bridge Hotel
The Bridge Hotel is a pub in Rozelle with an outdoor area. Dog access isn't confirmed, but venues with an outdoor area are often dog friendly, so it may be worth checking. Just 500m away, O'Connor Reserve is a great nearby park for a walk with your dog.

Hello 1975! It has a certain charm, the arty, the eccentrics, the flying sky high, all gather here. Music in the "grunge" bar, black everything, rough around the edges, shoulder to shoulder, plastic glasses. I went for TOFOG and was more entertained by the guy on guitar in the front bar "Tim", and the distinguished patron serenading a woman with an opera number. But definitely not by the guy who kept yelling out "Are you not entertained" and "By the glory of Rome". What was that?? If you want something to absorb the alcohol you're not getting it here. Staff were great, friendly, tolerant, and they just did it all easily. Very cool posters on the walls and the beer garden is Las Vegas Desert Hotel retro. Loved it!
Have seen really good 80's and cover bands here quite often. Great crowd - very friendly lot. Always a good night at The Bridge
A great local venue to see some amazing talent. We absolutely went to Funky Town at the Bridge Hotel seeing Psuedo Echo.
Google doesn’t give five stars for workplace health and safety, but if they did, I’d give it to the bridge hotel at Roselle. There was previously a couch where this table and chairs are now seen. (See photos and please ignore the empty pizzas boxes there not mine) If you sat down on the couch without knowing or noticing, it was easy to hit your head against the wooden ledge. This happened to me (and no doubt others). As a person who is passionate about workplace health and safety (I know, I didn’t think my life would pan out this way either, but it has), I would like to thank the bridge hotel for replacing it (the couch) with table and chairs. I don’t know the circumstances, maybe the couch had beer and vomit all over and stunk and needed to be replaced, but nevertheless risk has been eliminated. Thank you to the person who overall this. It hasn’t gone unnoticed. The back of my head says thank you! PS: to the Google question, How long did you wait for a table? Perhaps the correct answer is a number of years. But it was worth waiting for! Thank you and also thank you for keeping life music alive in Sydney. Models, BCO, Machinations and last night Ganggajang. Has been great.
It's a grunge joint which gives it an authentic old charm. Some interesting and unique characters frequent this place. The good thing is they get excellent & iconic bands to perform and have done so for more than 20 years . Well worth a visit.
