Exceptional venue. Exceptional service. Luke, the whole staff are so lovely, so welcoming and the food is amazing. The schnitzel is such a great value for money and so tasty. The outdoor patio is such a lovely place to take in the afternoon sun.

Long-loved pub. Value schnitzel. Pool table easy. TV sports. Comfy clean spaces. Shady rear garden. Friendly helpful staff. Great for afternoon refreshment.

Went out one night with my nephew and his mates, my hubby and I enjoyed the first visit so much we turned it into weekly sat night for us. Food is awesome and the staff super friendly. Recommend the livo for a good night out

I’ve been to The Livingstone Hotel on and off over the years, and I have to say the recent upgrade in management has made a noticeable difference. The whole place feels more welcoming, better organised, and far more professional than it used to be. Staff are friendlier, the service is smoother, and there’s a clear sense that the venue is being run with real care now. It’s the kind of improvement you actually feel as soon as you walk in. Whoever is in charge really cares and it shows! One small suggestion: a digital tipping system would be a great addition. The staff are doing such a solid job now that it’d be good to have an easy way to show appreciation. Trivia every second Thursday! Great atmosphere, good people, and a much better overall experience. Great hotel food had the calamari it was so tender and the nachos were to die for, husband had the rump melted in his mouth. Staff are very accomodating and so friendly and happy and it was a tuesday lunch so lovely and quiet. Will come again. Cant fault.
